Being a little on the sarcastic side myself (and British), I tend to assume every other comment is sarcasm

That's what happens when you put a Java/HTML newbie who has never written any kind of UI in control of designing a companies image on the WWW (Not aimed at UT in any way Michel). I often think if I designed an app with as poor a UI as some web pages you find out there my users would never find anything in the system.

I don't really think pointing someone to the files (oops sorry downloads) section is worthy of a star, isn't it meant to be for technical help?
