No surprise there, if you take into account that the majority of the threads deal with VFP-specific issues. Few and far between threads about middle tier issues like XML, ADO, MTS (now COM+, and very soon something else) or even web issues.

With the rapid pace of change, I wonder if it's best to stick with the tried and true as opposed to being on the bleeding edge.

Look at ADO, which was sold as the be-all of data access technologies and now it's back to the old "reading" board for developers. Although the change is probably good for VFP developers given the inclusion of the DataSet object.
