Well, I didn't have a dream that my kids (ages 6 and 2 and one more on the way) would be a Programmer, but my 6 year old boy is playing with some dot-drawings over the 'net (only requires mouse). I think it will be best to wait until they learn their first language at school (I first learned on Apple IIe ) and then they will come home and THEN, there could be a Father-Son talk.

I have two little ones (the oldest just turned 2) and expect both of them to be pounding keyboards before they hit grade school. Given some of the mayhem I caused as a young'un, I'm almost afraid of what they might do ("Gee Dad, I didn't mean to tank NORAD...")
