I have two little ones (the oldest just turned 2) and expect both of them to be pounding keyboards before they hit grade school. Given some of the mayhem I caused as a young'un, I'm almost afraid of what they might do ("Gee Dad, I didn't mean to tank NORAD...")

My older son (graduating college this month) surfs, chats, and plays some games. He's not interested in programming - but has shown some interest in Tech Writing.

My younger son (finishing Freshman year of college) doesn't seem to use the computer for anything more than a word processor. Never checks his e-mail, never on-line for chat, never calls, never writes (oops, different guilt trip)
