If not, go with someone like Earthlink (I use them for backup) who can give you immediate access, and start sending out messages about your new email name.

You win the bet, Barbara :-) Belly-up is correct. Fortunately they were "acquired" by global.net, who has been quick to get a new account set up for me. I do have hosting and personal address, so that's merely a temporary problem while it gets transferred.

What really through me for a loop last night is that my business-account RAS outgoing mail server was also down (and still is), so outgoing webmail is bouncing from there, too. Really had me doubly confused. I'm resorting to my third level of backup, which is Yahoo (a little tacky, but beats nothing at all) for emailing. You just can't have too many backups, I'll tell you.

If I was paranoid, I'd swear this was a plot (g)
