I was amazed several years ago when my son, then about 5, sat down at the computer and without ANY instruction whatsoever, found his way around the system, discovered how to write a letter with Notepad and Word, how to paint pictures with Paint, then install them as the desktop background, how to change all the screen display settings, etc...

Now he's started playing with HTML, although I've never urged him in that direction.
