Has anyone ever tried to connect to SQL through the application role. I am tring to fire up the sp_setapprole through an ODBC connection and it is not working. When I fire up the sp_setapprole through the query analyzer it works fine.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so have they been able to resolve it.
