Bob,
>Before an In-House user logs in to the applicaion he/she must first select the appropriate client. The database path must be set at this time before the logon screen display. Has anyone done this using MM and can give some advice on how to accomplish it? My thougths thus far, are to have the application object check for the existence of a free table of clients in the home directory and display/select based on its existence. Right track? Wrong track? Better way?>
That approach works...Other MM developers have added a new "client" field to the MetaDBC.dbf, then add a record to MetaDBC for each database. When the user selects a client, they simply filter the MetaDBC table for the selected client.
