You can add classes to your forms by clickin on the "Books" button of the FOrm Controls, and selecting the VCX your buddy gave you. Then, the classes in teh library shoudl show up on the toolbar, and you can drop his control onto your form.

The class browser lets you navigate class libraries a little easier, you can get to it from the "Tools" menu.
