Mark,

Have you used Foxfire much? have you used the demo version downloadable from their website?

I seem to be having problems with reliability it keeps causing
"Mismatched PushJmp/PopJmp call" errors which forces me to power cycle my machine.

What I have got to work looks reasonable - but one question...
I have tried to do a crosstab join, it works pretty well but I want to know if I can have more columns on the left (before the crosstab bit)
Surname Firstname Hand Fingers
Jones Will Left 5
Jones Will Right 5

Crosstabbed to :

Surname Firstname Left Right
Jones Will 5 5
I can get it to show Either Jones or Will in the crosstabbed report but not both.

Obvoiusly if I were to do this in VFP report writer it would be a piece of cake (just do a bit of pre precessing or a SQL statement) but for FoxFire! I am struggling

Is this possible (in a way that my end users might be capable of doing)?

Thanks Mark

Will

>If you buy it and build in some of the cost of Foxfire plus your development time, you can certainly use this in other projects to enhance the value of your product.

>>>You set up a data dictionary and define all the table joins. All the users have to do is pick the fields, set a filter and order by. FoxFire! is designed for the end-user which is why you, the developer, get to do a significant amount of setup work first.
