Joy,

I doubt this will help, but. . .

Going way (way) back in my mind, I recollect that such forms *used* to be, basically, "Column-based" and "row-based". By this I mean that the "bubbles" were typically spaced two "columns" apart (thinking back to punched-card days) and the rows would be either 1 or two vertical columns apart.

What I am suggesting is that *PERHAPS* treating them as FIXED-FONT, you might have a chance to do something with them. I don't know what you can do in that regard, but one thing which comes to mind is to try to determine how many "spaces" the "scanner" interprets between each bubble and try to use simply that. The "rows" shouldn't present much of a problem (I guess).

Well, good luck,

Jim N

>Is there a product which enables Fox to scan in from a form, and which will allow Fox to read the coordinates of the scanned images? Do you remember those battery tests we used to take in school? The kind where you needed a #2 pencil to fill in the bubbles? I have a client who has the forms and the equipment, but I don't know how to procede to integrate it into their VFP v.5 app. Espia doesn't do it. I've been in contact with their sales department, and it will read in a scanned image, but nothing will allow Fox to get the coordinates of those colored-in bubbles. Any suggestions?
