Say... What is actually the meaning of a "single-tier" application? I'm still not familiar with the programmer "culture" =)

>>>In our actual survey, it is interesting to see that single tier application is still the most developped one.
>>
>>Interesting thread and survey, I just read through it all. I'd like to point out one little "statistical bias" in the survey, however.
>>
>>I do single-tiers almost always. We have good, common use for these apps, and that is what I'm best at, so my plate is always full with single-tier work. Thus I answer the survey as "single tier."
>>
>>But we also do multiple-tier apps where I work, too, and we have individual specialists for each type of tier work. The majority of apps are 1 or 2 tiers, very rarely higher.
>>
>>So my point is only that just because I say "single-tier" does not mean it's the only method used at my agency, it's only what I usually do. So I think we should be careful about reading too much into the survey.
>>
>>Aside than that, a lot of good points made by UT members in the thread.

>Thanks for the clarification Bruce
