Our industry certainly seems to be moving in the direction of software by subscription. As an independent developer, I know I am looking always for ways to smooth out the revenue stream and make it more predictable. If this change will help to ensure the viability of SDT into the future, then I think it's the right thing to do. Count me in for a subscription.

>We're working hard on SDT 6.0. We will show this new version at the DevConnections conference in Orlando later this month. SDT subscribers will receive a free update to this new version. SDT 6.0 will work in VFP 6.0 and 7.0; most features will also work in VFP 5.0. SDT 6.0 will start in beta on June 1, 2001, and the expected release date is July 15, 2001.
