well, i post long time ago a trouble with a view (yesterday), now works , but i have a existencial question,

if i have view former from 2 tables, father.dbf and son.dbf,
father.dbf
father.id
father.descrip and son.dbf
son.id
son.fatherid
son.descrip

the view is father.id,father.dsc,son.id,son.fatherid,son.descrip and i check key in father.id and son.id, then when make the query the result of the view is:
father.id father.descrip son.id son.fatherid son.descrip
1 Raul .null. .null. .null.


i can add values in the son table trought this view?, or i need a second view for son table for updates?

where i can found more information about usign sql views?
