Fixed it...passed the cKey field only and changed the entry in the MSGSVC table to text string I was looking for. Some misunderstanding on my part about how it works, I think. But a question:

Are you aware of any problems incorporating the latest version (Feb 99?) of MsgSvc into MM? I have not done it; just thinking about it to get a new feature that has been added that may be useful.
