Yeah, I am almost relieved its over. Our 2 best players [Niewendyk and Modano]should be on crutches instead of playing. They also added ZERO significant players since winning the Cup 2 years ago, and have lost several key players. You can't win by continually subtracting from your lineup without adding quality depth. Ironically, Brett Hull may have played his last game as a Star [free agent] on St Louis' ice last night.

Turek was our backup when the Stars won the Cup and lost him indirectly because of the expansion draft. So I am really rooting for him now that the Stars are out. Dallas, instead of losing him that draft, traded him to St Louis for a draft pick. The Stars had about 24 hours to submit their protected players to the league which lead to the fire sale trade. A bad decision in hindsight. They should have let him go to Atlanta or Nashville in the draft.
