You can starup the Windows NT RAS connection by using the start command in dos mode his, as you may already know is because Foxpro5 allows you to run dos programs. you can start up the RAS connection screen by typing start at the dos prompt and the file you want to start.

e.g. c:>\start rasphone.pbk

An alternative way of doing this is by making a shortcut to you RAS connction. This can be done by clicking on the 'More' button on the RAS box and creating the short cut. You cannot howve runhis shortcut from the dos command prompt. But you can run it from the command prompt by creating a shortcut of the previous shortcut. This is because the start command can not run the RAS shortcut but it can run a normal shortcut. So if you have a normal shortcut reffering to the RAS shortcut you easily run the RAS connection from dos. Once you have achieved this you can use Foxpro5 to run the start comand in dos with second shortcut.

e.g.
C:>\start RAStest.lnk

Also make sure that when you use the start command you specify which directory/folder the second shortcut is in.
