With the introduction of VFP 7, we have Database Events. These events are pretty cool in that you can write event code for things like opening a database or opening a table.

What I would like to see considered is UserEvents. For a particular user you could SET USEREVENTS ON. If the user keeps entering invalid data or exhibiting other untrappable behavior, you could enter code in an ApplicationActivate event to trap the user errors. Maybe even we could have an external UserEvents file so that we could swap out UserEvent behavior as needed and simply recompile the user.

Perhaps Stonefield would be interested in creating a new utility, the Stonefield User Base Toolkit to support the new feature!
