It was a matter of seting up cameras and telling the software which create the copies of images and then you are done?. Sorry no programmation.

BTW the XRay Vision software is free. The XRay V. is a server with event of creating Web Page or sending Email. It can also upload the webpage and images to a FTP Server.

>Did you have to do any custom programming with VFP, VB or other language or was it a matter of telling the camera (and software) which drive to copy the image to and then you are done?

>>>Thanks for the info. USB is out though. The old computer doesn't have that port.
>>>Does the camera keep loading to the same JPG or does it create a new JPG for each image?

>>>>>I am going to develop an app at work to allow people to see our sign-in board. I am going to point a webcam at the board, the take snapshots every 1 or so minutes then have a 486 running a VFP app, copy them up to a fileserver. People will point their browser to a webpage which refreshes each minute to see the board. The sign-in board is white with black letter (good contrast). It is about 2 metres wide and 1 metre tall. Printing is about 3.5 centimetres high.
