>I really don't think investors are looking at Delphi increasing Bore-land marketshare.

You're ability to rip on products by using tricks we learned in elementary school never ceases to amaze me.

>Kylix is a new tool for the hot Lynix market. That's what is attracting the attention of investors.

Thats "Linux". Anyways, you can "combine Delphi with Kylix to use a single code base to develop cross-platform Linux/Windows applications". I be willing to bet there are a couple of people look at that

Its internet components let you create cross platfor web apps using Apache, IIS or Netscape servers. Delphi 6 also has Soap built in and can create MS.NET apps as well as Sun ONE apps.

When people here talk about flexible it usually involves using several Microsoft technologies. Delphi looks like the most flexible prodcut avialable, and I've always enjoyed Borland's IDE. I think they're gonna surprise quite a few people in the next year or so.
