I've seen it throughout Windows 95 and 98 and on different machines. I usually fix it by hitting CTRL twice and ALT twice. I figured it was just another Win32 nuissance (speaking of spell checkers...).

I have only noticed this problem while in my VFP application. I do not think that using a tab in Word has ever caused me to go to the next application. It seems that the problem starts in either VFP or my VFP application and only shows itself in my VFP application (of course I do not use the tab very often in the VFP developer).
