I have only noticed this problem while in my VFP application. I do not think that using a tab in Word has ever caused me to go to the next application. I also experienced this behavior occasionally Usually I can solve it by hitting ALT, Ctrl and other keys multiple times. I don't know, if it's VFP related or not. I upgraded recently my IE, let's see, if it fixes the problem (I doubt).
