>VFP's built-in form builder does about 10% of what it should do. Like a lot of you, I've written my own hacks of what one might call "form modifiers" by using the ASELOBJ() function. I would love to get my hands on a high-powered form builder/modifier. For example, when I drag-and-drop a field from the database designer onto a form, I need to go back and change about half a dozen things in the properties list every time. Very inefficient. The form's objects are not so complex that they need to be subclassed... the problem is that VFP's built-in form builder doesn't really support a developer's workflow.

Although it is FAR more than a FORM BUILDER, Visual Promatrix, using
the data contained in it's data dictionary and the ProMatrix Control
Builder converts a field dropped from the DE onto the form into a fully
defined / implimented field: Correct Label, Size, type of control,
tooltip, status, ...
Very nice product.
