I'm having a problem with the setup wizard for VFP 5.0a. In Step 4, I am trying to indicate a Post Set-up Executable that will automatically start my application after it is installed. I tried indicating a plain batch file here but the after it would run I couldn't get it to close automatically. So I created a one line VFP executable with the line "run c:\apps\hlthlife\hlthlife.exe." This would work as intended, but I get an error when I run setup. The setup program doesn't even start copying files. I get the following error:

Setup Error 279, Object 9, Your setup files may be damaged. Try restarting the Setup program from where you originally ran it.

I am using the network setup options.

1. Any ideas on how I can get my programs to run automatically after setup? My programs have code that automatically start the setup when a new version is available.

2. Is this a bug? If I supply a post-executable of c:\windows\calc.exe it works. Why won't it work with my small VFP app?
