I shall start reproducing something I've read at http://www.w3schools.com : Dynamic HTML is a term used by some vendors to describe the combination of HTML, style sheets and scripts that allows documents to be animated.

DHTML does not exist but also does. Yah, sounds ? but it's true. There's no official definition for this term, but we've got vendors that use the term to refer a set of technologies used in combination to produce dinamic, rich-content, animated web pages.
