Hi.
I'm looking for some software to limit the use of a pc to a certain no. of hours during the day. (Os is Win 98).
This is needed as a way of preventing prolonged use by my children... when they should be out playing football ,tennis,golf or some other worthwhile activity.

If there is not something 'simple' already there, I would look forward to the challenge of seeing if VFP could do this.
(I an aware of Net Nanny which seems to be internet related but could find no details on a pc nanny !!

The VFP program would need to:
1. On machine startup,create or Update todays file with current time
2. Stay running and monitor current time
3. If Time switched on is > Time Limit, either keep issuing a warning or shut the computer off
4. The VFP running program should not be immedaitely evident. (in case the user terminates the VFP program)

Any comments on this would be appreciated !!
