It doesn't work. It says cannot accompish. I am using optimistic, dynamic as input parameters for the open method. The data is there, but I cannot change it. I don't want to change the underlying Oracle database, just the recordset before printing a report. Any ideas?

>ADODB doesn't require you to put the recordset in edit mode. It is in edit mode when you open it. I had the same problem when I switched from DAO. Just remove the rst.edit and it should work.
