I have installed a Windows 2000 server and all works well.

Except, and we all knew that was comming :)

When I install a modem and AND then allow it to be shared
is screws up the DNS

I get this error...

Netlogon 5775 - Deregistration of the DNS record record_name_and_dns_info failed.

I dont know alot about Windows 2000 servers and would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and what they have done about it.

After installing it about 15 times I decided not to share the modem but I know there must be a better solution :)
