>>>>>Okay, I am flying out to Orlando for Double Impact on Tuesday at midnight. Who do I confirm the airline ticket with? Airport, airline? Can I do this over the web? Am I confirming my ticket or reservation or am I just confirming that that flight number is still flying?

>>>Okay, just confirmed via a very pleasant woman on the phone.

>>Depending on the airline, you may have been able to do this over the web. Most all of my travel for the last 4 years has made use of e-tickets, so I've always had a confirmation number I could check with on the web.

>What is an eTicket? I booked my ticket via Expedia and am flying on Air Canada, but they did mail me a physical ticket.
PMFJI, but I think Fred means you got a confirmation number when you booked the flight before you received the actual ticket. That's what you can use to confirm.
I use travelocity.com (yes, I do go places< bg >), I get a confirmation number from them that I can check on the web site. They also send me the ticket.
BTW, always check at least two sources when booking airlines. The last time I did, last fall, travelocity was significantly cheaper than expedia.
