Hi,
I want to show my users that the system is trying to lock a table.

I have
SET REPROCESS TO AUTOMATIC
SET STATUS ON

In the development environment I can easily simulate a lock conflict and I see the message "Attempting to lock... press ESC to cancel" in a WAIT WINDOW type message.

But when I run the executable generated from my project the message doesn`t show up. Pressing ESC works but there`s only a colored line at the bottom of the screen apparently showing the status of the last action.

Why can`t I see "Attempting to lock... press ESC to cancel" when running my .exe.
