>I am having a problem with the FoxPro report designer and fonts. I have a Okidata Microline 320 that has printer fonts. When I use the printer fonts the report looks fine in design mode but in preview mode(and printed) the formating is wrong. Words print out on top of each other and label texts are in the wrong positions. The only reason that I want to use the printer fonts is they allow the printer to go into utility mode which is much faster. When I use True Type Fonts everything looks perfect. Does anyone know how to remedy this problem or another font that would allow the printer to run in utility mode. All the ttf fonts make the printer run in "near letter quality" mode.

You make have to play with the spacing, since the printer fonts are fixed in position, if one line is just a little high, and the other is just a little low, then the end effect is that they come out overlapping in the printout (preview knows about this BTW). Just play with the positioning until they preview correctly, and you should be fine. It's just one of the problems with printer fonts.
