A quick question about disconnected record sets..

		**Disconnect Cursor
		oRecordSet.ActiveConnection = NULL
	        **make Change
		oRecordSet.fields("moc001").value='ass'

At the point when one disconnects a recordset is it usual to release the connection and restablish it? Isn't there some performance concerns here?
