>I am having a problem with the FoxPro report designer and fonts. I have a Okidata Microline 320 that has printer fonts. When I use the printer fonts the report looks fine in design mode but in preview mode(and printed) the formating is wrong. Words print out on top of each other and label texts are in the wrong positions. The only reason that I want to use the printer fonts is they allow the printer to go into utility mode which is much faster. When I use True Type Fonts everything looks perfect. Does anyone know how to remedy this problem or another font that would allow the printer to run in utility mode. All the ttf fonts make the printer run in "near letter quality" mode.

It would be a lot of work, but you could duplicate the fields in another font for the preview. Just add another set of fields on top of the existing ones and change the font. In the Print When logic of the original fields, set it to 'WEXIST("Printing...")' to only print when you are printing to a printer. In the Print When logic of the second set of fields use 'NOT WEXIST("Printing...")' to only print when you are previewing the report.

Not an elegant solution ... but it will work.
