I agree. Why do they seem to call or knock just when you are sitting down to have dinner?

My brother has his own ways to react to telephone calls selling something. In the case of a free subscription to 30 days of a newspaper, he tells the person who made the offer: "No, I do not have a dog"! and hangs up. They do not call back - but we have many newspapers in our area.
