>You are looking at the syntax for the automation server, not the RDC object model. Check the help doc for Report Designer database tables object version of that method. You will find that the first parameter is the DSN name and that would be all you'd need.

would that now be:

thisform.crxreport.LogOnDatabaseName("dsn")

I'm assuming this would preceed the code to run the report?

I guess I'm confused with when the setlogoninfo property would be used?

It looks like I still have more work to do. If I ever understand this program it will be a miracle.
