>I added a config.fpw to my project and screen=off is the only line in the config.fpw, but now when I Build the .EXE my form flashes at me and disappears. So what should some of the property settings be for the only form in my small app? I tried different settings for Desktop and ShowWindow properties and no help. Could be because I need a READ EVENTS in my .PRG file that runs my form? But I don't really want a READ EVENTS in there. Or is it because I have my form defined as Modal and not Modeless? I am getting closer. Thanks again.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this, but set the ShowWindow property to 2 for "As top level form" so it is independant. It should then show outside of VFP, and have its own entry on your taskbar when running.
