As a corporate employee type, my experience tells me VFP's use in big companies here is now nonexistant. Over the last 5 years I've watched adds in the local paper as well as web sites dwindle to almost nothing.

I haven't looked too much in the small to medium size company range.

But I also think the dotcom bust has put a lot of folks on the street here. I'm not looking right now, but other's I've talked to are not getting the reponse from recruiters they gotten in the past.
