I am using VFP 6 and DDEReg is still used to provide access to 16 bit Dll calls.

I have found some more information that seems to fix the problem on some client machines. The fix was a command in the autoexec which is supposed to change the behaviour of the DDEML.DLL library - (SET SRDDE= aoxomoxoa) - this was third hand information from a software suppliers website and was not directly connected to DDEREG. However it only fixed the problem on some machines no all. If anyone can shed any light on how/why it works then it may help me fix the remainder.
