Can you be more specific? Is this a setup where you have a cordless scanner and a receiver connected to the computer? Or are you using a scanner to scan a bunch of product, then transmit the information to a receiving computer?

If it is the former, it works basically the same as a reader that is connected to the computer with a cable. The receiver is connected to the keyboard port. Then the keyboard is connected to the receiver/converter. This is called a wedge type connection. All a barcode reader does is act like a keyboard and sends the readout to the currently selected control in a VFP form [for example].

If it is the latter, you would be tranmitting an ASCII file of data. You would then have to either import, append or parse that file using VFP code depending on the file format created by the reader.
