i've successfully used several api calls however none that deal with structures. i was using arnon's struct.vcx to pack the structure for notifyicondata into a fox string. i'm pretty sure i was doing it right. the window handle parameter was easy but i'm not sure about the icon handle.
let me know if you figure it out and i will do the same for you. i probably won't be able to get back to it for the next few days.
