Greetings all,

I am planning to host my first fox web app with Bellsouth.net. They have NT hosting and provide or allow for Fox, Access or MySQL databases. They simply provide a \data directory with read rights. I spoke with their technical support and asked about running custom .dll's called from an ASP page. The directories they provide allow for read, execute rights, so all should be ok. I can create a web site, write some vbscript to call my Fox.dll, process data, return web pages and all that.

Question: Will I still need to have the vfp runtime either on the server or on the client to make this work?

Any advise much appreciated.

P.S. I own Rick Strahl's Web Connections, and probably should use it, but it seems that if all you need is a .dll, .asp, .dbc/.dbf, for a simple data driven web site.
