It sounds like that MM is a good niche market. I would have to guess that if a company is standardizing around a sophisticated product like MM they probably have their act together. Since I've never used MM, and they go thru the user group for new hires, I probably haven't dealt with any of them when I was doing VFP.
When I started looking for my current job about 1 1/2 - 2 yrs ago, I talked to Jeff Pace from here and we both listed the same places as places we have been, and they were all screwed up too.
Luckily I found my current gig, which is Oracle. That also necessitated a nice little raise also, for going from VFP to Oracle.
