If I run the exe thru the debugger within Fox, it works just fine and doesn't exit, but if I try running the exe outside of fox it does. Has anyone else had this problem???, And if so, what am I missing? I seem to think that I am probably just missing some kind of system file outside of my Application, but who knows....

Do you mean that VFP3 exe (outside Fox environment) works fine and VFP5 exe not? Basically, it looks like missing READ EVENTS.
