In our case, we follow database specific naming conventions. I mean, there are field type differences and so it is chaotic on our part if we mix the two. Same case also with programming tools. Our naming conventions in VB is different from VFP. I know it's somewhat inconvenient at first, but we should adapt into it to easily distinguish which is which???

There is, but there is no standards I guess.
