Hello, im am new here!:)
I have just begun programming in C++ builder 5. I am doing my thesis in mechatronics, and programming isnt my strongpoint.

I really am struggling with graphics. I am looking to build an analogue display(like a clock), that will read data from a parallel port and display in clock form. I cant do the graphics! at all!! Just looking for a simple display at the moment.
First questio is, do i use TCanvas??? and if so, how do i initialise it??

Why cant i use the header file "graphics.h" for c++ver3.???Builder 5 doesnt seem to have it.

thankyou, mark:)
