Let's be honest - management understands one thing - results! Results contribute to the bottom line. Creativity belongs in an art institute. We are nothing more than square pegs in round holes as far as management is concerned.

That is why I do not take programming or management seriously. There is much more to life than self-perceived dogma. We all tend to think in our own terms and tend to “piss off each other” at one time or another. Going home at the end of the day and being able to say you contributed to something positive or assisted someone makes me feel good. But more important is to be able to leave work behind and live my life, which is sometimes not an easy task but a good aspiration.
