4000 files per hour was what it was doing. I don't know that redeclaration is an impact at all. I'm most suspicious of the converter exe that he's using is leaking like a sieve. *s*

The thought occurs that while redclaring a function creates minimal (almost not worthy of mentioning) additional overhead, I wonder if this might cause some problem if they were re-clared in this iterative situation. Wasn't something like 400 files mentioned?
