Is there a way to get the incremental search feature of a drop down combo box to recognize as just another character? For instance if you have a company list with multiple company names beginning with ABC (ABC Boats, ABC Lawn Case, ABC Trucking...) as soon as is entered the search terminates and the first "ABC" is selected. I would like the search to continue through .

I am also trying to treat the control differently based on whether or not the drop down list is activated or the user is entering into the text box portion. I have been experimenting but can't seem to find any indicator of that.
