I arrived in Orlando Wed@10am, unfortunately it was to upgrade the software at our local distributer here. On the plus side I have 500K Dsl connection all to myself :)

I am currently in a cheap hotel north of Orlando, but will be getting a room there starting Saturday. Weather is great, not as hot as usual. See you soon...

>I screwed up and ended up not being able to find the Double Impact hotel so I booked tonight at the Devcon Hyatt (I have since found the DI hotel... I can see it from my balcony). Here is my review of the hotel.

>- it is on a huge estate that has 3 full golf courses and a pitch n' putt
>- staff bend over backwards to help
>- 5+ restaurants and bars, with one cafe being pretty cheap
>- pool is huge with waterfalls and a supension bridge
>- they have a private lake, it took me over 1/2 hour to walk around it this evening
>- free shuttle to all 4 disney parks every hour
>- Disney is 30 minutes away by cab or shuttle (sheesh I didnt think it was that far)
>- the Double Impact hotel is a 15 minute walk away
>- the arcade has some cool games
>- the room safe fits a laptop (maybe two) but you have to prop them up at an angle because the door is thick. I used a hotel glass.
>- roots have on-demand video and console games
>- you can view your hotel bill so far via the TV

>Weird stuff in general:
>- Although local calls are free at the hotel, in Orlando they seem to cost $1 each
>- Disney is far away (from everything) and is too expensive at $58US per day for each park
