No, we are not, and we have never been.

Yes, you've got that right. I wrote that in the article and I meant it. That does not mean that VFE is the only framework that we use at VDSI. We have several current projects with either VMP or VFE. Not to mention that we have other projects with VB, and some others with pure web technologies...ya' know, use the right tool for the right project type of thing.

I really cannot tell much here about this because I don't know this myself. I am sure somethings will change at VDSI, yet, I am not sure what the scope of these changes will be. I am sure we won't be in the position of doing a Framework Roundup anymore for example ;)

Again, I really cannot tell you much here, not because I don't want to but because I don't have enough information myself.

What I do know for sure is that we won't just drop VFE because of this. We currently have several very large ongoing projects with VFE where we chose it because it was the right tool for the job-- and this current acquisition won't change that.

Both VFE and VMP have been great tools for us, and so have been others. Due to the nature of our team (VFP+VB developers,) the use of COMCodeBook has been in the talks frequently as well. Same thing for MereMortals, we have consider its use in several other projects.

Something that I do know for sure is the fact that, since we do a lot of VFP development, the VMP team will feel at home with us. I think that is the most important thing that will came out of this deal.
